I'm asked often to perform a love spell for someone. I state on my site I will not do these spells but...people ask anyway. Or worse they claim I've placed on  spell on them to force them to love me! lol Trust me, had I done so I would have Tommy Lee Jones all to myself

Maybe I should explain why i see this as unethical....and point out spell casting is not a large part of what witches do or  what we are about....

First why love spells are harmful: Ok, you think you want someone....can be absolutely sure you want them but they're not interested in you the same way. You know you can make them happy....happier than they can ever imagine and no one else would ever love them like you do.

 What goes around comes around....what we send out does return to us, for ill or for good.....and I'll take it further...I'm not wiccan  but I do love this part of the wiccan rede "and it harm none, do what you will" it also tells of the law of three...anything we put out comes back to us three fold...again, for good or bad.....

Harming none also means not harming ourselves...each thing we do we must look to see what harm it  may cause others. Are you willing to cut off another's freedom of choice? It's a binding spell actually...you are binding that person to you...and you'll have to understand that when you want it to be over (and it's likely you will at some point) you'll ask for another spell to make this person go away! What you thought was so charming may be so annoying you can't stand to be in the same room as the one you once loved so desperately.....
Spell casting takes a lot of work for most.....the moon phase has to be in the right phase, all the ingredients have to be found.....the setting up of the working is quite detailed and then the spell casting takes place which is quite another time consuming (and emotional) investment)

And what about the law of three or what goes around comes around or karma? The same thing will happen to you...someone you have no interest in will force you to love them......bind you to them....

Is this really what you want?

If you're looking for love...love  yourself. You will draw others to you with what you send out. No spell work necessary. Love others and love will return to you ...see yourself as loved and you  will be.....

The best thing I've found that works for finding love? Stop looking for it...it finds you when you least expect it. Live your life fully as you ARE complete as you are. You need nothing to complete you.......enjoy each person, relationship that comes into your life ....don't worry about if this will be the one......

Live your life in this moment....enjoy every second. Live as if you already have whatever it is you're looking for or feel you are missing.
It is already there.....
